A Royal Arch provincial visit to Bristol

There’s something about the ritual at the Royal Arch meetings in Bristol that impresses every time. This evening we were treated to a superb Exaltation to enhance our inter Provincial visit. Pictured are Monmouthshire Masons along with the new Exaltee of St Augustines Chapter Comp. Micheal Daburn. No doubt it was as memorable for him as it was for us. Well done Bristol, continue with your unique ritual.

Jasper tudor enjoy another visit to St Johns

Last evening at the St Johns Lodge in Abergavenny several Jasper Tudor Brethren attended to support the Lodge and the Worshipful Master Ted Williams (pictured right). Above are most of those who attended. The meeting was a tremendous success with over 60 others attending W Bro. Teds first ceremony which was an initiation. It was very well presented and all officers involved can be justly proud of their endeavours.

The newly refurbished old temple at Newport.

The old temple at Newport Masonic Hall has been returned to its former glory with the decoration  taking on a more Victorian look. The décor also includes new lighting and pictured above are two luminaries of the Charles Lyne Lodge, W Bro. Ivor Harris and W Bro. John Challenger below the newly lit portico at the east end of the Temple. Much research was made on the choice of paints and colours etc. in order to make the décor as true to its original as possible. It truly is a wonderful restoration.
